A Royal Opportunity

This summer I had the most amazing experience!
I got into the international summer course at the Royal Ballet School in England!!!

It was an intense two week program on the grounds of their lower school "White Lodge".  I had about four classes a day each one around two hours.
Since it was an international course, there were people there from all over the world! Almost every single student was fluent in at least one other language and many of them actually did not speak english.

All of the staff and visitors were so kind and the whole atmosphere just held such a professional feeling.
The ballet studios were enormous and classes were amazing yet perfectly challenging at the same time.

Not long after I came home from England, I got an email from the principal of the school offering me a place at White Lodge starting this September!!!
I am so excited!!!!! :D
Unfortunately, with such an wonderful and prestigious ballet school comes a price.
It is super expensive to be a student at The Royal Ballet School and being an international student they cannot provide me any form of financial support; but we're doing all we can to get the funds before September.

I have made myself a GoFundMe website.  Please help my dream come true!  Any amount of a donation is greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you all so much:)

Team LA 2013

We hosted frenchies again this year!  They were here for 10 days at the end of May to play a big soccer tournament (the Cerritos Memorial Cup).  It was a blast!  I created a video of their stay for them; it was a ton of fun to put together.  I love and miss them so much!!

A Dancer's Journey: The Road to Recovery

I made this mini documentary at the beginning of the year, featuring my sister and following her recovery process, getting back into dance (she injured her knee).  I learned a lot making it; it was a big project.  I am happy that it's complete!  :)  I've submitted it into the Wilmore 9 Film Festival.  Hopefully we'll see it on the big screen in August!

Allie's Spring Time Fun :)

       By Allie*

This Spring I have done many fun/awesome things!  I will be sharing 5 fun things!

                               A Tribute To Spring
                        Smoothie
2 bananas
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup rasberries
1 cup mango
1 or 2 apples
1 or 2 cups of any liquid you would like.  I used coconut milk.

Put all ingredients in a blinder.  If you would like a cold smoothie then put some frozen fruits in also.  Or ice cubes.  You can use fresh fruit, frozen fruit, or both!  I use both.  Now all you have to do is blend and enjoy!!!!!

                           My Easter Romper!

For easter I sewed a romper.  I got material from Joan's Fabric store.  (I am also wearing the romper in the photo with my baby friends:).

                                      I Have Baby Fever!

I am a certified babysitter and I love to play with babies soooooooooooooooooo super so much!
I always bug my mom to go to our friends house who has 2 awesome adorable twin girls!  Isabella and Olivia!  They are 8 months.  I also have a job down the street from my house with a little 2 year old girl Charlotte!  I get $5 an hour.  I call my babysitting Mama's Helper.  I go to houses while the mom or dad is home and play/watch on their baby!  Here are some pictures!  :)

                                       Flower wreath

My sister Carly and I made a flower wreath out of egg cartons and cardboard.  It was really fun!  All you need is a lot of egg cartons,  paint,  paint brushes,  cardboard,  and the ability to cut out a cardboard circle for the base!  Here is a picture...

                                    My Gymnastics Exhibition

I go to Kidnastics for gymnastics with my friend Malerie!  We recently had a awesome exhibition!   We had to work hard and memorize routines!   I love doing gymnastics.  I do gymnastics with 2 coaches.  Ms.  Paulina and Ms. Andi.  I do gymnastics 2 times a week.  I am in level 4.  All of the coaches are so nice at Kidnastics.  Nothing like my old gym.   On my trampoline I mastered my back handspring this spring!  I have my front handspring on the gyms floor!  I love floor!

I am the one in the pink leotard!

A couple extras...

Petting a rattlesnake at Starr Ranch.

My letter to Obama asking him to help the people in Syria.

On Golden Pond & Composition Results

Here is my latest recital piece.  My Mom played On Golden Pond a while back, and I found the sheet music and fell in love with it.  Enjoy!

Also, I finally got my results back from the Composers Today program!  I got "outstanding" in almost all of the categories.  Wow!

Guess Where We Went........?

Guess where we went?

Last week we had the most amazing experience.... We got to go to the set of Good Luck Charlie in L.A.!!!
Our friends Charli, Malerie, Madison and Makenzie came too!
We were technically the laughter in the background... or the real live canned laughter, whatever you call it.
  It was so much fun!
Before the taping started, we got a tour of the studio and they told us about how everything works behind the scenes!
Here are some fun facts:
• Did you know that Sitcom = Situation Comedy?
• An episode of Good Luck Charlie costs $200 a minute to film!
• Leading up to the taping of an episode - Monday-Wednesday the actors rehearse, then Thursday they do half of the taping and Friday they come in and tape what they didn't do on Thursday (most of the time it is out of order).
In the time on Friday, for people like us who came and did the laughing part of it, they will replay the scene that they taped the other day so that they can record our laughter for that section because Friday is the only day that they have a live audience when they do.
• On the set of Good Luck Charlie they have the main rooms like the kitchen, living room, basement and Teddy's room that are always there.  But, for rooms like the garage, PJ and Gabe's room, Charlie's room and any other room in the house or taking place in a different location in the episode; they are called "swing sets" and literally can swing in and out of place when needed!

I could talk about it forever, but because I totally would I am just going to post some photos now:
