Now We're REALLY Cookin'!

Chef Nate makes Fried Apples (he wanted to call them Apple Souffles, until we told him souffles puff up and are made with eggs). Here is the recipe according to Nate (he made it up)...

Ingredients:
One apple
1/2 Cup flour
some cinnamon
agave (or honey or maple syrup)
a cube of butter

Directions:
Slice an apple into circles (or rings). Spread agave on both sides of each apple ring. Dip apples into flour & cinnamon mixture. Put butter in a pan over medium heat. Put the floured apple rings in the pan and cook them until both sides are lightly browned. Eat while still warm ~ Enjoy!

Hey, Nate!
We loved meeting you and your talented family last week at the Kid$market! (We are the two girls that had the Rainbow Pops for sale.) Ella, 7, followed your awesome video instructions and made some yummy apples! They kinda reminded us of candy apples (we used honey). Keep up the kitchen experiments! Love it! cris, shelby, & ella h.

Jamie & Jonny,
Thanks for your comment. Maybe we can cook together next time you visit! ~ Love, Nate

Chris, Shelby & Ella,
Thank you! It is good to know that they taste good with honey because I've never tried it with honey before. Your Rainbow Pops were yummy too. I hope we see you guys another time. ~ Love, Nate
