Another Road Trip

This summer has been one of travel for our family.  It was launched with another road trip.  After Micayla received a scholarship to attend Pacific Northwest Ballet's summer intensive in Seattle, Washington, we decided we'd make an adventure out of it and take her there.  So, we packed our bags (Micayla had her bags packed a month before our departure date), left food and instructions for pet care, and headed out on the high road once again.

We had the opportunity of hosting two teenage French soccer players this May.  They came from Northern France (were hand-picked from their regions) to play the Cerritos Memorial Cup tournament here.  We had so much fun with them! :)  Here is a mini documentary I made for them with some footage from the experience.

All of Me by Jon Schmidt Piano Cover

I've been working on this epic 11 page piano solo in Db (yikes) major for a while now.  All of Me by Jon Schmidt.  It's a beautiful piece!  I love playing it. :)  Enjoy.

Love to Dance!!!

We had our last week of Maple  before summer intensives start! Many of us are leaving the state to study dance elsewhere for the summer with new all day schedules of dance and conditioning. Here are some videos of me dancing at Maple Conservatory of Dance with my friends : )

Here are some photos/video of my modern class too:)

I am going to do a ballet intensive in Seattle this summer at the Pacific Northwest Ballet! I am so excited, I have a few friends going also : )  I will miss all of my Maple friends this summer, see you in September!!!

One World One Ocean Video Contest

My psa The Way of Water placed in the top 8 for the One World One Ocean video contest! :)  So stoked!  Now the video with the most votes wins (I wish they'd just pick one winner instead of having it be a popularity contest but it is what it is)...I need your help!  Please vote for video by clicking the link below!  I'd really appreciate it! :)

The amazing music in my film is Blue Rondo A La Turk played by Project Trio.  They are an incredible group of musicians; flute, cello and bass.  I had the pleasure of taking a master class with them this Spring.  I'm so lucky to have been able to use the piece.  Thank you Project Trio!!
